The annual Victorian festival is held here in August when locals and businesses step back into the time of Victorian Llandrindod Wells – a spectacle not to be missed. Other attractions nearby are the National Cycling Museum, the Radnorshire Museum and nearby Abbey Cwm Hir, resting place of Llywelyn ap Gruffudd, the last Welsh King (1282). The Elan Valley offers a variety of walks and cycle trails, as well as a visitor’s centre with café and children’s play area.This area is known as the Wildlife Centre of Wales, with its amazing variety of nature reserves open for visitors to enjoy.
